Songbird Music Therapy loves to provide in-person services to the community! Through collaborations with non profits, schools, and other institutions, music and music therapy can reach more people in our area. Roots, Rhythm & Regulation Music Group
I've very excited to partner with Rooted in Wellness OT for a collaborative even exploring the connection between music, movement, and nervous system regulation! Through rhythm, breath, and community, we'll reconnect to our roots and support our bodies in finding calm, connection and joy.
This is open to kids 1-5 and their caregivers. Space is limited, sign up on the Rooted in Wellness website here

Library Little Songbirds
I'm excited to be offering some Little Songbirds classes free for the community at Wyomissing Public Library. They are hosting one class a month over the summer on the following dates:

Family Music Club for Littles
This is a music therapy group from families with children 3 years and under! Opportunities for bonding, education around developmentally appropriate uses of music, and community building are key components of this group. It is one of the donor funded music therapy groups at Love Works Resource Center in King of Prussia, PA. Email tconicello@loveworksrc.org for more info and to register!

Yocum Institute
These two groups are held at the Yocum Institute for Arts Education in West Lawn, and are the first offering of music therapy at the site! Sign up on their website here
Little Music Makers (Wed 11-12)
This inclusive music therapy group is designed for children aged birth to four years old and their caregivers. Together, participants explore music through singing, movement, and instrument play, fostering bonding and connection. The class focuses on supporting key developmental areas, including communication, motor skills, and early life skills, all within a fun and nurturing environment that celebrates every child's unique abilities
Melody Makers (Wed 12:00-1:00)
This music therapy group provides a welcoming and inclusive space for adults with special needs to connect through music. The focus is on song recreation, sing-along activities, and exploration of small instruments. Participants engage in meaningful musical interactions that promote self-expression, social connection, and a sense of accomplishment, all while having fun in a supportive environment!
Karaoke Social (1 Friday a month, 5:30)
This is a karaoke social for teens and adults with special needs and their families! Participants can choose to sings with a karaoke track or live accompaniment if I know the song!
